About
Street Maine is a collection of stories and essays about reclaiming roads from cars, and turning them into places that people can use for a range of transportation options, i.e. streets!
We aim to share feasible alternatives that are are currently in use, being trialed, or could potentially could be used here in Maine.
Far too readily, policy and decision makers dismiss alternative modes of transport out of hand. The goal of Street Maine is to make that as difficult as possible.
